What Happened in Salem: Week of December 5th

As Rafe and Shawn dug into Stefano’s affairs to try and clear Hope…

Deimos remembered to feel guilty about the fact that he held Bo hostage (causing his cancer to go untreated, resulting in his death) and then let Hope believe Stefano had done it (which landed her in prison), so he waltzed into the one room at Statesville and told Hope that he’s sorry. He then paid another inmate named Chille to protect Hope, which seems to involve a lot of loud declarations that she’s being paid to protect Hope. Back at home, Deimos revealed to Victor that he’s looking out for Hope, and Victor — who should probably be checked for a brain tumor, based on these scenes alone — basically absolved Deimos (or, as I might start calling him, Daniel 2.0) of any wrongdoing by telling him that Bo would’ve died anyway, so oh well.

i just love the logic of any and all of these people walking into someone else’s home, or office or being able to get into hospital labs and waltzing around in prisons unaccompanied and like it is a normal thing to do and that is allowed…….i would also note that there sure are not many that live in salem that bother to lock their doors…..or windows….. such a safe town!!

Even showing up at someone’s front door in this day and age is super-aggressive! No one ever calls ahead. And they just assume the person they want to see will be home.

Except when it’s under siege by three escaped convicts…or a serial killer with a clever name is running around….or when Satan himself is possessing innocent psychiatrists…
