What Happened in Salem: Week of October 3rd

The Trio of Terror’s reign of vaguely threatening comments and poor wi-fi connectivity continued…

Marlena ran around town attempting to compile psychological profiles on the three escaped convicts, though she overlooked the obvious explanation that they were all driven mad by having to interact with the insane idiots that populate Salem. John managed to round up $20 million like it was nothing and coordinated to make the drop in exchange for Joey. Theo got his hands on a gun and planned to exact revenge on Clyde for Abe’s shooting. John met with Orpheus to make the drop and was told that Clyde had Joey in another location and would release him once the money was transferred. Orpheus got frustrated as John grimaced and squinted at his laptop while trying to make the electronic transfer, probably because he was nervous John was about to pull up Claire’s YouTube page.

I think if they handed this over to the military, like any town in real life would do, we’d be on to something hopefully more interesting than this ridic SL. So long as Roman, Steve, and John are the only ones in charge of this, everyone’s doomed. BTW, how come Eduardo started this whole mess by crashing the prison transport van, yet he’s nowhere to be found in rescuing the town from the fallout?

To be honest, I think folks are much safer roaming around town without their bodyguards … if I recall, just about everyone that’s been kidnapped or accosted has been snatched or shot at while inside their own guarded home.
