Tuesday Blessings

I gasped at the end of Tuesday’s episode, even though I knew exactly what was coming.

I love Eileen Davidson and Kristen, but mostly I love that her reappearance — with that baby — means that something has to happen in this damn story besides Brady, Theresa, and Melanie carping at one another in the hospital and the Town Square nonstop. On the plus side, the fact that I’m so bored by just about everything going on means that I’m perfectly okay accepting the, er, shaky “science” behind this entire scenario.

Tuesday’s other moment of glee:

No, not Serena being on. That will never send me into anything but a rage spiral. (Also, how many blue dresses does this woman own?!) But there was one glorious moment when she showed up to try and hang out with Melanie, and Mel was like, “Uh, I’m busy,” and then Maggie showed up and Melanie let her into the apartment but still didn’t let Serena in. No one wants you around, lady! Take a hint and GTFO!

Kristen makes everything better! I agree, even though I knew it was coming, it was still very exciting to see her!

In all my years of watching, I’ve never used the fast forward button as much as I have in the last few weeks. I watched all 5 episodes from last week in just under 2 hours.

It’s so boring. Daniel and Nicole have the same conversation every single damn day, and nothing ever changes. Serena/Eric and JJ/Paige/Eve are just variations on the same shit, too. There’s a bizarre lack of movement.

  2. Jayme Says:

Kristen’s only on for a handful of episodes, but that set is HUGE. I think it might be St. Luke’s church? At least it looks like a real mansion and not just a random room. Can’t this be the DiMera mansion? Otherwise, man does she look good.

The other stories are so boring that I’m actually looking forward to Paige finding out about Eve and JJ. Maybe that’ll be her characters’ time to shine.

Why is Kristen living inside St. Luke’s? And how did the DiMera couch get there? Agreed that anything Kristen-related totally brings Days back to what it used to be!

Everything Serena wears is not only blue, but the exact same shade of cobalt! Just like TBD Burgundy. On the bright side though, at least there weren’t any sales on the material used for Eve’s Freddy Mercury Chic top.

It looks like a mash-up of the DiMera mansion and St. Luke’s! I ‘love’ when they repurpose sets…

It’s really weird about Serena and the blue. It’s like someone gave a note that Melissa Archer only looks good in THAT shade (…which is not true) and they became fixated on it.

  4. Andie Says:

Sarena is supposed to be intelligent, resourceful, and well educated? She has more holes in her brain than Melanie’s shirts! 😉 Sarena and Mel are supposed to be BFFs but, that has not been evident especially after that display aside from the fact those two fake gingers have hardly hung out.

  5. Andie Says:

Kristen kind of looks like one of the Real House Wives of New Jersey 😄 OK, on a serious note, my theory is Kristen was able to carry the baby herself courtesy of Dr. Mandrake aka Mircale Max performing the first ever successful uterus transplant; the lady organ(s) were donated by her late sister, Lexi Carver. This would explain the pregnancy scare a while back after Kristen raped Eric and reconciled with Brady. It’s funny how Melanie explained (courtesy of Ewe Search and Web MD) that women who have had embroyo transplants deliver early. I wanted to think Kristen has the same length of gestation as her spirit animal, the Green Anaconda 🐍

    • mykleraus Says:

I was dying at Melanie explaining the early delivery thing. Like, I’m impressed they even addressed the timeline, but it was also completely insane to be discussing!
