What Happened in Salem: Week of August 4th

Something something Kristen stuck in a supply closet with Daniel forever la la la…

Jordan, who has been lying about things like her name for an entire year, refused to forgive Rafe for having a drunken one-night stand with, as she put it, “a woman who hates me.” (Presumably, then, she would be fine if it had been with a friend of hers.) Ben stuck his fist in Rafe’s face and then stuck his foot in his own mouth by calling out home-wrecking floozy Kate in front of home-wrecking floozy Abigail.

Ben is just a handsome face and a rocking hot body. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed so, he fits in pretty well with most of the other Salem men.
Rafe could have arrested Ben charged him assaulting a police officer.

I have no idea if Galen/Rafe can sing. “Tammy Sue” would most definitely be a country song. Jordan/Rafe and Ben/Abby are so boring! Zzzz. Sami telling Jordan of Rafe’s drunken affair with Kate and the fall out added much needed excitement. Jordan and Rafe have the spark of 2 neutrons. Once Rafe was literally back on his feet, he should have fallen out of Florence Nightengale mode and got to steppin instead of pushing for Miss Tammy Sue who looks like Velma from Scooby Doo.
Ben and Abby are so campy and about as exciting to watch as hibernating hedge hogs. I don’t know what’s worse, the fact she’s with him or he’s with her. When are they going to have sex? Is Ben waiting for Abby to her tested at Salem Free Clinic OR is it because Abby will only have intercourse with Ben if he ends up bring a Dimera?

What sucks about Abby/Ben is that they’re actually getting a lot of the technical stuff about building a romance right. There just isn’t anything compelling behind it. They usually force these couples together, but the build here has been interesting and complicated. I just wish I, you know, cared.
