Because It Was the Devil’s Work, Maybe?

You guys. I might need everyone to join hands in a prayer circle.

Someone actually came to this blog by typing that second phrase into a search engine. Someone considered the EJ/Taylor story and thought, “Hey, why didn’t that go on longer?” I’m going to cross my fingers and hope that this person never saw a frame of the show between February and September 2011, and s/he was simply curious after reading that there was an EJ/Taylor story at all. Because anyone who saw any of that catastrophe should already know the answer — and if s/he saw it and doesn’t understand why, I’m afraid we might have no choice but to tie him/her up with The Scarf and toss the body into the Salem River.

I’m so tempted to try that search and see if it leads me here.

It’s such a shame. I always that Tamara as Ava had chemistry with JS. After 2010, I was so over EJami/EJole part 10000, I could into a mob prince and mob princess falling in love. And then they decided to bring her on as Taylor! Why waste a powerhouse actress on a such a mediocre bland part? Natalia, for her awfulness, can play that role. TB cannot.

I think that was their reasoning in the quick recast: “TB actually could act! And we know she has chemistry with him!” Except the character was so flat and dull, and TB actually did something interesting and played her as an entitled idiot — which was funny but didn’t sell the “Taylor is a perfect heroine and everyone loves her” angle at all.

I just had searing sepia toned flashback of Fayes\’s cameo.
