What Is This, The DiMera Mansion?!

Abigail got pissed at her mother for hassling her about the phone conversation she was having in the living room.

Maybe she should just be relieved Jennifer didn’t come home 20 minutes earlier?

I was actually surprised by her declaration that she’s a virgin. I didn’t see it coming, and it’s an interesting way to pick up on the dropped threads in Abigail’s history. But maybe instead of lecturing her about birth control and condoms, Jennifer should teach her about going up to the bedroom for certain things.

Girlfriend has no shame. The living room is where they hang the Christmas ornaments! Have some respect! I thought that Abby’s virginity was a nice twist. It almost KINDA explains her insane behaviour with Austin. She must’ve been in heat.

Speaking of ladies in heat, did you notice Kayla AGGRESSIVELY playing with Jen’s ponytail? I thought she was going to mount her.

Lol, does the Horton home have no bedrooms? All I kept thinking about was the giant picture of Jack on the mantle (the one Nicole helpfully made more visible by moving another picture). Nothing like having your dead dad watch over you as you try and fail to lose your v-card multiple times.

I liked the twist too, it was way better than the “grief sex gun shy” route I thought they were going, and it does make both the Austin and the Chad SL make more sense (she never seemed mad enough about the whole Chad leaving her to be with her BFF thing, esp for Salem).

I’m not sure Maggie and Mickey’s house had a bedroom either. There is a hilarious scene from when Mickey died where Mia attempts to seduce Will in Maggie’s living room. When Will hears the back door open, he worries someone might walk in on them. “So what?” was Mia’s response and she mounts Will, while Maggie and Lexi are chatting in the kitchen and Mickey is upstairs dying.

Ugh, I hadn’t even thought of the photo of Jack being up there. It was really nice of Nicole to shove the photo of Tom and Alice aside!

      • Alana Says:

LOL! I remember exactly the Will Mia scene in question, and there is a serious lack of bedrooms in Salem altogether. That’s why so many people hold out to do the deed at the Green Mountain Lodge, a cabin, or a safehouse.

Forgive me for breaking the fourth wall…but do you think that maybe the show just can’t afford another bedroom set right now? Because I can’t make sense of anything else.

(Honestly, you’d think that if you put yourself through medical school, you’d have a little more self respect than to be screwing around at your girlfriend’s parents’ house, scheduling your trysts around when her mother is supposed to be out.)

I thought so… until today, when one magically appeared! But yeah, I tend to think that’s exactly what is going on. Sami’s place has no bedrooms, the DiMera place barely has a bedroom, etc. Apparently they scrounged up an old hotel room and an ugly bedspread for today’s episode, though.

Do you think it’s in poor taste for Jen to redecorate the Horton house at this point? Or maybe there’ll be a scene where Abby and Cameron bang it out for the first time and knock over a candle, burning down the house but with only enough time to save the ornaments and Jack’s giant photo. Then they can combine 2 or 3 of the 10 safehouses (with a couple of hotel room sets as bedrooms) and make a brand new house for Jen to cry in.

Hahahahaha. “Hope told me about this beautiful hotel room she stayed in in Alamainia, so I wanted to recreate that…”
